Welcome to the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine at Holy Cross Hospital Internal Medicine Program. We are delighted by your interest in learning more about our evidence-based approach to life-long learning and clinical practice.
Accredited by the American Council of Graduate Medical Education (ACGME), we offer both preliminary and categorical positions in our program. Sponsored by the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, our vision is to educate the next generation of internists who have the attitude, skills, and knowledge needed to provide care to patients in the new healthcare environment.
Our program provides all residents with opportunities that more than prepares them to care for patients across the healthcare spectrum. Not only do our residents train in diverse and high-quality healthcare settings, we emphasize team-based care, quality and patient safety, and chronic disease management. Our residents also work in Patient Centered Medical Homes (PCMH) and Accountable Care Organizations (ACO) to gain the skills necessary to be true leaders in the emerging healthcare environment.
Our residents learn to care for patients in a variety of ambulatory settings as well as the inpatient wards. They are taught by an enthusiastic group of outstanding faculty involved in all aspects of the program and curricular development. We welcome you to peruse the remainder of our site to see the many unique opportunities that joining our learning community will bring. Please feel free to contact the GME Office directly if you wish to visit our great hospital or have any additional questions we may answer.
